Items may be returned within 15 days from the original date of purchase.
Return Conditions
Returned merchandise must be in original, unworn condition and accompanied by the original gift box, warranty cards, and any explanation booklets provided at the time of purchase.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

Special orders
Custom designed jewelry
Altered pieces, including ring sizing
Refund Method
Approved returns will be refunded to the original form of payment.
Credit Card Processing Fee
Refunds issued to a credit card will be subject to a 3% processing fee.
Exchanges
Eligible items may be exchanged within the same 15-day period provided they meet all return condition requirements.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash and may only be used toward merchandise purchases.
Special Orders and Custom Work
All special orders require a 50% deposit and are non-cancellable. Special orders are not refundable or exchangeable.
A special order includes any jewelry, gemstone, or watch that has been ordered to accommodate a client’s request for an alternative style, size, metal, or color that is not available in stock.
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gemstones, and labor furnished for a specific client. Custom jewelry requires a 50% non-refundable deposit before work begins and is non-refundable once completed. Full payment upon receipt of custom work indicates the client’s satisfaction with the item.
Layaway Policy
A 30% deposit is required when placing an item on layaway. Layaway payments must be made at least every 30 days.
Items placed on layaway will be held for a period of 90 days from the date on the receipt. If satisfactory arrangements for full payment have not been made by the end of this period, the item will be returned to stock and all payments will be forfeited.
At our discretion, layaways may be cancelled in special circumstances. In such cases, a restocking fee of 15% of the original invoice will be charged and the remaining balance will be issued as store credit only.
Repair Take-In
All repair, sizing, or remounting work is performed at the customer’s risk. Jewelry may contain fragile stones, lightweight mountings, previous damage, or prior workmanship that could affect repair outcomes.
Liability for any damage or loss of items is limited to the actual cost to repair or replace the item. The store is not responsible for the identification or condition of jewelry at the time of receipt, treated or enhanced stones, incorrectly marked items, or pieces left unclaimed beyond 90 days.
Service and Cleaning
Jewelry cleaning and setting inspections using ultrasonic and steam cleaning are offered free of charge. We recommend this service every 6 months.
The store is not responsible for the loss of stones due to worn prongs or settings during cleaning.
Watch Repair Guarantee
Watch overhauls are guaranteed for 12 months. This guarantee does not cover moisture damage, bands, crystals, or minor repairs.
Replacement of a watch battery does not guarantee overall watch function or water resistance. Watch battery life is guaranteed for 12 months from the invoice date.
Colored Gemstone Enhancement Disclosure
Natural colored gemstones are commonly subject to traditional trade treatments and enhancement processes after extraction. These treatments are standard within the jewelry industry and may be stable and undetectable.
All relevant information regarding gemstone treatments will be disclosed to the best of our knowledge. Market values for colored gemstones are based on these widely accepted industry practices.
Engagement Ring Warranty
Engagement ring purchases include a lifetime warranty covering side stones. If a side stone chips, breaks, or is lost from its original setting during normal wear, it will be replaced free of charge.
This warranty does not cover center stones.
To maintain warranty coverage, the ring must be inspected every 6 months by an authorized representative of Dr. Gold Jewelry & Diamonds. Failure to complete inspections within the required time frame will void the warranty.
